Privacy Policy

At KundaliGuru, we take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it. Your trust is important to us.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly: your name, email address, birth date, birth time, and birth place. This data is used solely to calculate your Vedic birth chart and personalize your astrological readings. We also collect basic usage data (features accessed, session duration) to improve the app.
2. How We Use Your Information
Your birth details are used exclusively to generate your Kundali (birth chart), Dasha periods, horoscope, and other astrological analyses. Your email is used for account authentication and important notifications. We never sell your personal data to third parties.
3. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored on secure servers with industry-standard encryption. Birth chart data is cached locally on your device for offline access. We retain your data as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting support@kundaliguru.app.
4. AI & Chat Data
Conversations with the KundaliGuru assistant are processed by our AI infrastructure partners to generate responses. Messages may be retained for a limited period to maintain conversation context. We do not use your conversations to train AI models, and we never share the identity of the underlying model providers as a way to sell or profile you.
5. Astrologer Memory & Your Journey
To make guidance personal, the assistant may remember a few durable facts you share in chat (for example a life event or an area you care about) and log any time-bound predictions it makes. Everything remembered is visible to you under "Your Journey", where you can delete any item individually, clear it all, or turn memory off entirely. When memory is off, nothing is extracted or stored.
6. Voice Messages
If you ask questions by voice, the audio is transcribed to text to generate a reply and is not retained beyond that processing. Only the resulting text conversation is stored, under the same controls as chat above.
7. Palm & Face Reading
Palm and face images you upload are sent to our AI analysis service and are deleted immediately after analysis — we do not store palm or face images on our servers, and face images are never used for identity verification or any purpose beyond generating your reading. The analysis results (text only) are stored in your account history.
8. Couple Space
If you link with a partner, messages in your shared Couple Space are visible to both linked accounts. Either partner can unlink at any time, which removes the pairing. We do not share your individual chart or private chats with your partner beyond what the shared space displays.
9. Astrocartography
Astrocartography lines are computed from the birth date, time, and place already on your profile. We do not collect or track your live device location for this feature.
10. Family Circle Profiles
On the Family plan, you may add birth details for family members to view their charts. You are responsible for having their consent to add their information. Only you (the account holder) can view, edit, or delete these profiles — they are never used for anything beyond the readings you request.
11. Generated Reports & Gifting
Reports you generate (such as the Brihat flagship PDF) are stored in your account so you can re-download them, and are deleted if you delete your account. If you buy a report or feature as a gift, we store only the redemption code and its status (redeemed or not) — not the recipient's identity, until they redeem it with their own account.
12. Payments
Premium purchases and one-off Report Store purchases are processed by our payment partner (Razorpay). Payment details such as card numbers are handled directly by the payment provider under their own security and privacy terms — we do not store your card details on our servers.
13. Third-Party Services
We rely on AI infrastructure partners for chat, voice, palm and face analysis, a payment provider for premium and one-off purchases, and a push-notification service for alerts. Each has its own privacy policy, and we share only the minimum data necessary for these services to function.
14. Push Notifications
If you enable push notifications, we register your device token to send you daily horoscopes, Dasha updates, auspicious time reminders, and prediction follow-ups. You can disable notifications at any time in the app settings.
15. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can update your birth details or account information within the app, manage remembered facts under "Your Journey", manage or remove Family Circle profiles, and delete your account from Settings. To request complete data deletion, contact us at support@kundaliguru.app and we will respond within 30 days.
